At Mr. Tippy's we're helping reduce e-waste one Top Notch Deal at a time. A staggering 20 to 50 million metric tons of e-waste is disposed of worldwide every year. Sadly, a large percentage of what is labeled as "e-waste" is actually not waste at all, but rather whole electronic equipment or parts that are readily marketable for reuse or can be recycled for materials recovery.

To clarify, e-waste includes, but is not limited to: TVs, computer monitors, printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, circuit boards, lamps, clocks, flashlight, calculators, phones, answering machines, digital/video cameras, radios, VCRs, DVD players, MP3 and CD players. Yep, e-waste is made up of basically anything electronic we use. Most of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled, which is exactly where Mr. Tippy's is working to make a difference.

The products we offer are selected based upon our goal to offer unbeatable prices on products you need (Top Notch Deals), the product's remaining life vs. time and cost of repair (reasonable repairability). Many of our items were on a one-way path to the landfill when intercepted, while the rest are customer returns to retailer or simply last year's discarded electronic to make room for this year's model.  If you like saving money and the planet as much as we do, last year's model makes so much sense. 

We take them in, clean them up, make any repairs necessary and find new homes where they can be useful (and hopefully properly recycled when they finally do reach end of life). We take our sustainable efforts a step further by using only clean "used" boxes and packing supplies donated our supporters. Additionally, Mr. Tippys contributes to UPS Carbon offset program with each UPS shipment.
